the importance of protecting the privacy of personal information. You have a

Registration, Accounts and Passwords

NIDMAR runs its own server, which uses state of the art technology to safeguard

Where information is collected at the nidmar.ca website
There are three places on the nidmar.ca website where information is collected:

when you purchase items, register for educational modules, apply to write
certification exams, etc., all on the e-commerce portions of the website
(shopping cart); and

when you access the site, your computer leaves a data trail.
What information is collected at the nidmar.ca website

Personal information
In order to register on the website, purchase items, register for
educational modules, etc., it is necessary to obtain personal information
such as your mailing address, the organization where you work, and contact
information including telephone and email address in order to send
resource material you have purchased or registration information with
regard to educational modules, etc. You may from time to time receive
email communications from NIDMAR regarding news, events, education and
resource materials available through the website, unless you uncheck the
appropriate box during initial registration where you were asked if you
would like to receive updates. You can change this feature at any time
by using the unsubscribe instructions. Your personal information is
saved, along with a history of completion of online modules, purchase
of resource materials, in a part of the nidmar.ca website called "My
Profile". You can change your contact information by accessing your
profile at any time.

E-commerce transactions
For each e-commerce transactions three types of information are required:

Personal identifying information such as name, address,
phone/fax, email;

Transactional information, i.e. information on product(s)
purchased, online modules enrolled in; and

Credit card information.
Personal identifying information collected at the e-commerce portions of
the website is used for billing and shipping of goods or services.
Credit card information is sent to a third-party (Beanstream) for
approval and processing of the online transaction. This third party
agent is contractually bound to safeguard and secure your personal
information and to use this information for no other purpose than to
process credit card transactions in real time conducted through the
nidmar.ca website. We retain a record of your billing and shipping
information only for accounting and customer support purposes. We do not
have access to credit card information. Some personal information may be
shared with third-party suppliers, e.g. website technicians, for customer
support purposes only.

Cookies
